To whom it may concern:
My name is Gabriel Flores, I am a senior at Sanger High School. This school has taught me a lot and I am very excited for what my future has for me after graduation. During my years here i have learned different things from criminal justice, to working in construction, and with AG small engine repair, these are all VROP classes that have prepared me for different careers.
My goal is to join the Marine Corps. I plan on doing this by graduating high school and staying out of trouble, and to keep working hard at PT to improve myself everyday at being fit and being able to apple the Marine Corps creed. The Marine Corps creed is honor, courage, and commitment. The Marine Corps recruiters have taught me a lot and constantly push us to be better and improve ourselves from applying yourself at studying, to being fit and bejng able to PT.
My high school career has taught me how to be a better young adult and how if you don't apply yourself you won't succeed. It has shown me that i need to apply myself, ask questions and pay attention to everything. This will help me to become an asset to a company because I don't give up that easy, I will work hard for something if i want it that bad. I used to play sports like baseball, but now i just play it as a hobby, but I am still active I work out all the time, I box at home and lift weights but most of the time i am with the marines working out at PT. I am good at working with others or just working by myself, the marines are helping,e develop my leadership skills even more and to make sure that everyone finishes and to not jus think about myself because there are other people that depend on me. The VROP classes have helped me and even the ones im taking right now help me if I want to get a job in that field. Thank you for your time and consideration
